Wow, just got back from the Sarasota Chalk Festival with the Art for After Hours team of Shawn McCann, Wendy Stum and myself, Anthony Cappetto having just completed the latest 3D interactive street painting piece 'High Wire'! With my dedicated team of Shawn and Wendy, we worked hard to complete our 15' wide by 30' deep wet chalk artwork by Thursday, November 1st for a 'test walk' by none other than world renowned daredevil Nik Wallenda! Nik needed to 'make sure' that our chalk drawn high wire was tight and ready to go for the thousands of people who walked our line from the first through the weekend at the Festival which drew hundreds of thousands of visitors to our piece and the works of some of the world's top 3D chalk artists. Here's our story...

'Safe' ! The public is ready to go! Thanks Nik!

Here's a few details from the piece:
Shawn McCann's illustrative work comes through with his beautiful style shown with the elephants and soft tonalities in 'High Wire'...
Using vintage circus references, I enjoyed applying my painterly style into the work seen with the two children on the Ostrich and the Ballerina and Horse (below):
Our 'New' Honorary Team Member:
For his unflinching daredevil high wire testing, Art for After Team was unaminous in adding honary team member status to Nik Wallenda with our mischevious clown who nearly cut the wire on us...
All of us on the Art for After Hours team had a great time creating the 'High Wire' 3D chalk art piece for the Sarasota Chalk Festival, Nik was a great sport in taking the time to visit us, and we look forward to bringing our 3D interactive art everywhere! Best wishes to all!!!
