Recently I had the opportunity to work with a client in the UAE interested in bringing an immersive 3D experience to their attendees at the 2014 Big 5 Construction Trade Show in Dubai in November. They reached out to me at Art for After Hours to design a multi panel scheme that interconnected two separate illusionary experiences in which I was pleased to oblige of course!
Working from Art for After Hours studio in New York, I coordinated reguarly with my UAE client including working meetings in New York for progress and design confirmations for the 3D art. It was critical that the art was configured to fit in specific areas of a booth in design stage itself, physical sight unseen. To achieve this, both 3D design layouts needed to be precisely measured to coordinate with the work of the booth vendors including responses and revisions which affected the anamorphics of the art and were revised accordingly so the 3D designs worked when shipped to Dubai for live booth installation.
At the New York Studio, we tested illusionary effects and coordination for the two interconnecting pieces. Pictured (Anthony Cappetto of Art for After Hours).
The second 3D design featured a dynamic, precarious scaffolding - appearing to collapse, giving us seconds to get to safety and save the day! Left to right - Wendy Stum, Marketing Director, and Art for After Hours Founder and designing 3D 4D street artist Anthony Cappetto.

The 3D street art was installed in UAE to relate the art to the physical booth panels and their interconnection with the Art for After Hours designs.
