Art for After Hours was asked to come up with an innovative way to celebrate the famous inventor and genius of the early electrical age Nikola Tesla, who established the Tesla Electric Light and Manufacturing Company in Rahway NJ in the late 1800's.
Last week in celebration of the achievements of Tesla, especially in Rahway, I chose to design a 3D art solution focusing on a Tesla Coil electrical device within a clear cube platform supporting an electric vehicle as a complete conceptual composition.
Here are some pictures of the 3D art:
3D street artist Anthony Cappetto of Art for After Hours at work bringing the 3D design to life... You may notice that I have a GoPro camera on my head as a time lapse mechanism for an upcoming video which we will share soon!
In this picture, you can see the linework of the cube the electric vehicle is 'resting' upon over the Tesla Coil...
Completed 3D street art for the Rahway Business District and the Tesla Science Foundation as part of the 'Culture Crawl' event celebrating Nikola Tesla and his notable contributions to Rahway.
It was a very fun project to do and had a great time!
