Speaking for Art for After Hours, my company that provides
the talents of 3-D street painting art talent for corporate and not for profit projects
in the USA and internationally since 2001, our artists and team have seen the
growth and interest in this art form spread rapidly with clients in 2009
ranging from large exhibition projects in Dubai (below), international street painting
festivals in Mexico, to small growing art events here in the USA. Even in the current economic conditions
during 2009, street painting art in corporate art events and launches has still
been a successful means for advertising, marketing, and public relations firms
to bring their message to their targets.

Art for After Hours sees positive signs for larger, more ambitious projects and efforts for the street painting art form in 3-D and traditional 2-D street painting art projects in 2010 in terms of corporate and not for profit events. Art for After Hours values the respect and integrity of our clients and their vision, as well and equally, the growth and creativity of the fine street painting artists that we have on contract to allow these street painting art projects to become reality.

This has additionally been a fine year for Innovative Street Painting Group, Inc. (ISPG), a second company in which I am a co-founder to bring the street painting art form to the new generation of street painting artists, festival directors, and the many growing fans via social media. In 2009, partnering with Livestream.com, a streaming video media provider, ISPG was able to broadcast live from the Festival Bella Via in Monterrey, Mexico in October, interviewing street painters from Mexico and Italy through our street painting art video channel, streetpainting.tv. The broadcast reached viewers in Mexico, USA, and Canada, but additionally in Europe, the Russian Federation, Asia, and South Africa.

Moving forward in 2010, we are seeing the interest in the avatar and virtual space experiences growing and the beginning of popular discussion of when – not if virtual spaces and avatar based interaction will become part of mainstream society. Innovative Street Painting Group plans to become a part of this ‘blending’ of the live aspects of our art form with these new, exciting developments, whether they are in Second Life or another immersive delivery method.

Our experience in working closely with professional clients and our street painting artists through Art for After Hours will be strong components in sharing, growing, and interacting with visionaries in new VR and VS worlds who enjoy art and wish to bridge live and virtual experiences.
I will be glad to discuss our thoughts in this post through
Art for After Hours and Innovative Street Painting Group, reaching out and being
available to those who envision the way forward in street painting as we
do.
