Hello to our readers from Westchester Mall in White Plains NY where Art for After Hours created a nice pair of illusionary floor art pieces for the opening of the Under Armour Brand House this week.
The first piece was done with a soft background highlighting the metallic grey logo for Under Armour while the second (below) is sharper for a similar appearance but not identical.
Typically on the Business of Street Painting Art, we show our primary work which is 3D anamorphic street art installs which are viewed correctly only through a lens such as a handheld device such as an iPhone or Android, tablets, still cameras, or video from a set point by the designing artist. 3D anamorphic art will appear foreshortened such that they will look elongated when physically drawn which is correct. Illusionary pieces can be understood visually with the naked eye alone.
This was a fun project to do and always look forward to expanding on the themes for our corporate clients in malls and large public spaces with scalability in concept and in 3D anamorphic installations including our developing work in 4D emerging technologies for the greatest conceptual experiences.
If these concepts are of interest to you and your next initiative, please feel free to reach out to us at your convenience.
