Just returned from a fun exhibition project in Elmira, NY in which we had an opportunity to come up with an innovative, interactive piece to engage the viewers.
Something 'Out of the box...' so to speak...
Inspired by the Rubik's Cube that has stumped many (including me) over the years, 'The Cube' came into my design plans...
The 3D anamorphic design was made to purposely have the cube flying out of the box at a slight angle, coupled with interactive spatial relationships (people at more than one place in the design) moving away from more common solutions such as holes in the ground, etc. Although those solutions are effective and fun, we are moving away from those to more interactive pieces with opportunities for multi positioning, immersive results.
Here's Wendy (Our Marketing Director on cube), and I leaving you with a picture of us on and by 'The Cube'... If you are considering 3D that is more interactive and participatory for your audiences and viewers, we'd love to hear from you! Contact us at Art for After Hours.com, Innovative Street Painting Group, or at my official site anthonycappetto.com. We'll be glad to help you realize your goals and plans for 3D street art - anywhere in the world...
